An updated and expanded version on of Joseph M. Overfield's  "The 100 Seasons of Buffalo Baseball", tells the story of Buffalo baseball from the 1850's, when the city's first amateur ballclubs were formed, to 2020. when major-league baseball returned to Buffalo when it hosted the Toronto Blue Jays' "home games" at the city's downtown ballpark. It is a story full of good times and bad, heroes and rogues, and triumphs and disappointments, all told against the backdrop of the profound changes in American society and the fortunes of Buffalo, the city.
